Who to contact
Caltropia Research operates this service. Contact caltropia@caltropia.com with privacy questions or requests.
Information the service handles
- Your email address, account identifier, email-verification status and membership access.
- Workspace boards, notes and preferences you choose to save. Some settings also remain in your browser.
- Subscription status and billing references returned by Stripe. Payment-card details are entered on Stripe’s hosted checkout and billing pages.
- Service and security records, such as requests, errors and rate-limit events. Hosting providers may process IP addresses and technical request information.
Why it is used
This information supports sign-in, saved workspaces, subscription access, billing, support, fraud prevention and service reliability. Error diagnostics sent by the site contain a page path, error category and software release; they exclude query strings, passwords, email addresses, notes and portfolio holdings.
Service providers
Google Firebase and Google Cloud provide authentication, application services, storage and security checks. Netlify hosts the website. Stripe handles website payments. If your membership comes through Substack, that subscription is also subject to Substack’s policies. External fonts and libraries may be requested from their providers when a page loads.
These providers may process information in countries outside your own. Contact us for questions about your data and the providers involved.
Browser storage and security checks
The site uses browser storage for sign-in, theme preferences and saved research layouts. Google’s reCAPTCHA Enterprise helps protect account and data requests. Clearing browser storage may sign you out or remove settings saved only on that device.
Retention and your choices
Account and workspace information is kept to provide the service. Billing, security and operational records may need to be retained separately for legal, accounting or security purposes. Contact us to request access, correction or deletion. We may verify account ownership before acting on a request.
When your account or subscription changes, data required for financial records or resolving a dispute may remain. Avoid placing sensitive personal information in research notes.
Policy updates
Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date. Contact us if you need clarification about a change or a privacy request.
